For this exercise I managed to get the character following the reference pretty accurately however I feel the arms in the reference help sell the power being transferred. As I moved along you can see that the animated character doesn't sell the weight being transferred however after some feedback I was able sell the weight movement by adjusting the jump height and tweaking the spines movement.
